opponent (əˈpəʊnənt) — n 1. a person who opposes another in a contest, battle, etc
Often it is through adversary that someone is defined. Whether a being can be deemed angelic or evil, good or bad is irrelevent, they are important only in that they are the opposition. Opposition and strife come to define characters.
Here, the viewpoint of your character's opponent is explored. It's how they have perceived your character, what motivated them to do what they did to them. Did they perform heinously and come to regret it? Did they always feel that they were the one wronged and all along it had been, in fact, your character who they thought was the "bad guy."
Basically... explore your character through the eyes of someone who is not their friend or someone who agrees with them but that person in their life who has lived in opposition to them.
***Note: For some writers, there is actually someone who rped their opponent. It is fine to write from their perspective here, it is meant to be a creative sharing, not a rewriting of someone else's character. If you feel that the mun of the character might be offended, please do the courteous thing and ask them before posting. Other muns might be interested to see what you write from their character's perspective and how you think they think and feel-- what you've imagined motivates them and has caused them to do what they do. This is meant to be a fun way for muns to play with their writing and characters.
