This board is about an organization referred to as "The Church." Is is not a completely religious one, just highly organized and ruling its people in a social and moral fashion.
Currently, it exists alongside that of the Widow's Spoon (see the board that is listed below this one for interest).
Here are some details about The Church:
Generally speaking, the Church is powerful and vague. They seem to implement a lot of spies to watch their own people and they send missives quickly. There is a lot which isn't known about their methods and what they strive for. In securing the Widow's Spoon years ago, Corren was left with the impression that the Church ultimately had benevolent intentions. Ultimately, the Church and the Brother's clashed because both were wanting to secure the merchant rights of the area. The Church, being much larger and more powerful, gave aid to Corren and Topaz to remove the Brothers from power.
While Correna dn Topaz have left the Widow's spoon for the next missions given by the Church, the brothers slowly rebuild.

- It is a large organization with thousands serving it.
- It strives for money and power.
- Its good intentions are questionable.
- Corren was serving it when he and Topaz fractured the Hive in the brother's downfall (it is loosely referred to in some of the Widow's Spoon posts). They are now on assignments for The Church.
